Benzo big, benzo early, then load an antiseizure drug on the clock.
Time-based management of convulsive status epilepticus: adequately dosed benzodiazepines in the first 5 minutes, a full-dose second-line antiseizure medication by 20 minutes, and intubation with anesthetic infusion for refractory seizures, alongside a hunt for reversible causes.
